Echoes and Embers is an easy, straightforward and highly customizable application on Windows and Android to create the perfect ambience and soundscape, to give your Tabletop Roleplaying Games the perfect immersive atmosphere.
It can tune and mix any local audio file to craft the perfect scene of tension, peace, horror or action. Pull those heartstrings and swing those weapons with the backing choir of heroes!
Above all, Echoes and Embers was designed to be easy, hassle-free, and intuitive. No laborious importing, with minimal setup required, while keeping all the mood, drama, action and excitement we want for our games. and stories
Current Features
Extremely easy and user friendly design. No clutter, just beautiful buttons that you can manage yourself.
Control over individual sounds including Volume, Directional Panning and various Loop Options with organic random delays. Information is clearly and clearly indicated on each Trackbutton.
Ability to prepare ambience scenes from before or on the fly. Set them up prior to your session and the app will save all your settings just as you set them up. Presets can be set to change just sound effects, music, or both
Easy customizable Profiles to sort out your Presets depending on what game you're playing.
Automatic import of an entire library of sounds on your drive. No laborious manual importing, just tell the app where your sounds are and it will manage the folders for you into easy readable buttons.
Customizable and personal Presets that you create exactly as you wish to quickly move between different scenes or launch back to a previous scene in your session. Presets work in harmony with whatever is currently playing, with a literal feeling of movement through scenes. They can be set up to seamlessly to keep some sounds going while fading in additional sounds and fading out other sounds left behind.
Customizable aesthetics to the app including background images, button images, and playlist names. No hassle, just save an image file and you're set!
Customize the button placement and size depending on your screen size
Distinction between Sound Effects and Music allow for music to be played in sequence or randomly to do its thing while you play your game. Perfect for combat encounters or tabletop games that need a sense of dynamic audio motion as you play.

Potential Future features
While not set in stone and are only in the planning phase at this time, potential future features include
Themes for the aesthetics, such as sci fi, medieval, horror, steampunk and the like, to fit the setting of what you're playing better. Would effect things like buttons and borders.
Colour customizability for music and sound effects.
Online capabilities better than using discord bots.
The app is instead designed to use whatever library of mp3 sounds you have on your device. Craft your own perfect library of sounds for your games and style.
