Media Foundation offers good support for most video formats. It comes as standard on both Windows 8 and 10.
DirectShow
If the video format you wish to use isn't support by Media Foundation then Directshow support is also offered allowing you to install any codecs needed for your media.
Image Support
Festoon Player image support includes PNG and JPG formats.
